We believe life is better when it’s shared in community.

This isn’t ordinary dorm life. This isn’t standard college life.

Common Life is a shared living community of 12 units on the third floor of the Oklahoma State Wesley Foundation on the corner of University and Washington.

What am I signing up for?

Each living unit shares a common suite with another same-sex resident. Each suite comprises two private bedrooms, one shared bathroom, and one shared living space. Connection for cable TV, wifi, and all utilities are included. Laundry and parking are on-site.

We believe that shared meals are a powerful force in community. So we have one common kitchen and dining area. All residents share the responsibility of maintaining this space.

Our residents share dinner together once a week with a focus on spiritual,

personal, and community growth. Each resident also meets with our Director or Associate Director once a month for a “One-on-One” to answer John Wesley’s question, ‘How is it with your soul?”

What am I paying?

Total for the academic year, August through May, is $6,300, payable in two installments at the beginning of each semester. Other payment options are negotiable.

An optional reserved parking space is available for an additional $100 per semester, with a discount if you choose to make it available on game days during football season.

When do I pay?

Payment is due on the first day of the first month of the academic semester—August for fall semester and January for spring.

After I apply, what happens next?

Give us 15 days to review your application, stalk you on social media, and have your references assure us you won’t stack your dirty dishes in the community sink.

Once we’ve done that, we’ll send you a lease that we’ll need back from you in 15 days. And we’re good to go.
