Anne Walker, Ph.D.

Interim Director

Anne Walker is Director of the Wesley Foundation at OSU.  Her eighteen-year career in the nonprofit sector includes work in grant programs for ministry with youth-under-pressure, in graduate theological education, and in nonprofit program development.

Prior to her work at The Wesley, Anne served as Director of Learning and Professional Development at the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. She is an adjunct professor, teaching Christian education and formation, at  Saint Paul School of Theology and at Iliff School of Theology.

Anne holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Religious Education, and an M.A. in Ethics, all from Claremont School of Theology. She received her bachelors degree from Oklahoma City University. Her specialities include: youth ministry, young adult ministry, education for social change, and theologies of vocation.  She is the co-author of Nurturing Different Dreams: Youth Ministry Across Lines of Difference (Pickwick, 2014).

An Oklahoma native and citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Anne appreciates good people, good music, and good humor. She lives in Edmond, OK with her husband, Monty, and son, Ryan.

Peter White

Interim Campus Pastor

Peter is a spiritual director and ordained Methodist pastor. You can find him on campus in Stillwater every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. He’s passionate about listening and responding to Jesus and helping young people discover the way of Jesus. He loves listening to stories and telling stories.
Prior to coming to the Wesley, he spent seven years as Minister with College Students and Young Adults at First United Methodist Church in Tulsa. He’s a graduate of Oral Roberts University, Asbury Theological Seminary, and (hopefully real soon) Northern Seminary. He lives in Tulsa, OK with his wife and their two pre-schoolers. Mason Williams

Program Coordinator

Mason organizes programming specifically to help us have fun, relax, and get to know each other. A recent graduate of OSU with a degree in Leisure Studies, Mason loves to support community building through laughter, play, and trips.

A quote he lives by… “The best thing in life is finding people who know all of your flaws, mistakes, & weaknesses, and still think you’re completely amazing.”

Mason was part of the Wesley Foundation at OSU throughout his college years and participated in everything from Spanish conversations groups to International Choir to leading in the Freshman Family Group. He believes in inclusive, hospitable environments which nurture the spiritual, social and personal growth within the lives of every student.

Mason also serves as Director of Student Ministries at Highland Park UMC.

Kathy Walker

Administrative Assistant

Kathy Walker is an administrative assistant for the Wesley Foundation. In June of 2015, Kathy became a part of the OSU Wesley Foundation staff working with the Board of Director, record keeping, and communications. Kathy first became acquainted with the Oklahoma Methodist organizations in August 2006 when she became the administrative assistant of the Stillwater District Office of the OKUMC and continued to work there until the end of May 2015 when the office was closed due to redistricting.

Kathy is an avid reader and loves music, both vocal singing and piano. She is married to Dr. Timothy Walker, pastor of First Baptist Church in Stillwater, and has five children: Jonathan Walker, Jenny Garrigan, Belinda Harelson, Christopher, and Timothy (T. Mike) Walker. In addition, she has 6 wonderful grandchildren.
