Rev. James Hunt
James Hunt is a native Oklahoman. He was born in Talihina, went to high school in Henryetta, and graduated from Oklahoma State University. James met his wife, Hilary, while they were both students at OSU. He earned a degree in American History in 2004, then attended Perkins School of Theology at SMU, graduating in 2009.
James traces his Methodist roots back to his great great grandfather who was a Circuit Rider in Oklahoma territory, once serving the Stillwater area. James has served churches in Oklahoma and North Texas ranging in size from 100 members to 5,000, and has experience in college ministry, youth and camping ministries, church planting, and creating new worship experiences.
James and Hilary have a daughter who is 5, a son who is 2, and a son who is 1. so his hobbies include reading children’s books, drawing with crayons, and talking people into taking naps.

Anne Walker, PhD
Director of Operations
Anne Walker is the Director of Operations at the Wesley Foundation at OSU. Her eighteen-year career in the nonprofit sector includes: work in grant programs for ministry with youth-under-pressure, in graduate theological education, and in nonprofit administration. Prior to her work at The Wesley, Anne served as Director of Learning and Professional Development at the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits. She teaches religious education and Christian formation at Saint Paul School of Theology and at Iliff School of Theology.
Anne holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. in Religious Education, and an M.A. in Ethics, all from Claremont School of Theology. She received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma City University. She is the co-author of Nurturing Different Dreams: Youth Ministry Across Lines of Difference (Pickwick, 2014).
An Oklahoma native and citizen of the Cherokee Nation, Anne appreciates good people, good music, and good humor. She lives in Tulsa with her husband and son.
Women’s Ministry Coordinator
Sharon is a native of Virginia, but also grew up in North Carolina, and is a fan of bluegrass and Americana music. Sharon obtained a Masters of Animal Science from North Carolina State University and was able to travel to Wales, Australia and New Zealand. Her work background includes Environmental Education, Chamber Management, and Office Administration. She relocated to Stillwater in the summer of 2016 with her husband and two girls. She is currently taking Spiritual Formation Training to become a Spiritual Director.

Brian comes to us with a wealth of experience in program and building management. For several years, he worked for a nonprofit supporting Stillwater Head Start. He most recently served as the Director of the Drumright Head Start, launching that program and setting it up for success. Brian started at the Wesley in June and oversees the new building itself. He manages relationships with vendors, coordinates building use and rentals, and is the primary contact for repairs and maintenance.

Kathy is an administrative assistant for the Wesley Foundation. In June of 2015, Kathy became a part of the OSU Wesley Foundation staff working with the Board of Director, record keeping, and communications. Kathy first became acquainted with the Oklahoma Methodist organizations in August 2006 when she became the administrative assistant of the Stillwater District Office of the OKUMC and continued to work there until the end of May 2015 when the office was closed due to redistricting.
Kathy is an avid reader and loves music, both vocal singing and piano. She is married to Dr. Timothy Walker, pastor of First Baptist Church in Stillwater, and has five children.

Aly graduated from Oklahoma City University with a B.A. in Religion where she met her her husband Rev. Adam Shahan. Her family serves Lost Creek United Methodist Church where her husband, Adam, serves as Senior Pastor. Aly’s experience in the non-profit and United Methodist world has been: 2 time delegate to General Conference and Jurisdictional Conference of the United Methodist Church, Administrative Assistant for Discipleship Ministries and Connectional Ministries of the Oklahoma United Methodist Church, Administrative Assistant for the Disaster Emotional and Spiritual Care program of Oklahoma Conference of Churches, Co-Chair of the Annual Conference Council of the OKUMC, Co-Dean of Camp Spark and Young Adult Spark, District Youth Coordinator for the Heartland District, served as a Youth Director for over 10 years, etc.
Aly has two children and loves nothing more than cooking, traveling, and playing games with her family of 4. In her free time she runs a baking business, Donnie Jays. Aly loves to go to camp, be active in her local church, write and is so happy to join our team.
